I began climbing in 2018 after years of competitive distance running. What started as a one-week membership at a San Diego climbing gym quickly became my next passion. After a brief introduction to climbing at Tahquitz and Joshua Tree, I headed to Vermont for what were my formative years of climbing. Here I progressed from single pitch cragging to more adventurous multipitch climbing in the Adirondacks, sprinkling in some ice climbing during my two seasons out East. Upon my return to California, I landed in Sacramento which afforded me the opportunity to fall in love with the Sierra Nevada all over again. Family trips to Tahoe began further back than my memory goes, however re-discovering the range as a climber has been an absolute joy.
Without a mentor to show me the ropes, much of my beginnings were self-taught from various resources. Within my small climbing circles in San Diego and Vermont, I became the driving force to expand our abilities and horizons. To solidify my knowledge, I would practice, practice, practice on the ground and teach my peers. Enjoying this process, I formalized my instructional training by earning my AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification in 2024 and Rock Guide Apprentice certification in 2025.

I began my climbing journey in 2016. After staring at the walls of Yosemite for years during annual family trips I joined a climbing gym just after graduating high school and immediately fell in love with rock climbing.
After falling under the wing of two incredible mentors I was quickly exposed to the complexity and depth the climbing tradition has to offer us in the surreal landscape of Joshua Tree with occasional trips to the Sierra Nevada. When life took me north to Sacramento I fell even more in love with the Sierra and have learned a lot teaching friends and pushing myself amongst peers.
Leaning into my climbing passion I have been working in the climbing gym industry and instructing since 2022 and have held my AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification since 2023.
